Every handover, considered.

Building on KAGO’s multi-compartment platform, KAGO MAX adds stereo depth sensing and RFID card-based collection for indoor deliveries that require enhanced perception and verified handovers.

Independent compartments
Independent compartments and internal lights assist loading and collection.
Card-based collection
The 13.56 MHz reader supports ISO/IEC 14443 Type A; documentation lists a 50–100 mm reading distance. An integrated telephone system can notify recipients on arrival. Confirm card compatibility, permissions and notifications on site.
Fused perception
Front camera, two depth-camera units, lidar, ultrasonic and infrared sensors, and overhead VSLAM assist localization and obstacle avoidance. The documented depth-camera detection range is 0.2–2.5 m; route performance needs on-site verification.

From loading to verified collection.

Explore shopping delivery
  1. Staff load a parcel through the cargo-access side of KAGO MAX, with the doors opening left and right.

    Load

Staff choose a compartment layout and load within the limit: 10 kg per large compartment or 5 kg per small compartment.

  2. KAGO MAX crosses the threshold of an open office elevator.

    Travel

KAGO MAX follows a mapped route. Lift, gate and automatic-door connections depend on project integration.

  3. A recipient answers an arrival telephone call while KAGO MAX waits with its doors closed.

    Notify

An integrated telephone system can notify the recipient when the robot reaches the collection point.

  4. After identity verification, a recipient collects a parcel from the cargo-access side of KAGO MAX.

    Verify & collect

The recipient uses configured card access and the touchscreen to verify collection, then takes the items from the assigned compartment.

Connect the route. Prepare for the next task.

Mapping, building connections and charging make the delivery route part of everyday operations.

Building integration
Project-specific lift, gate and automatic-door integration enables travel between floors on configured routes. Telephone notifications can alert recipients on arrival.
Charging and dispatch
Return to charge when the battery is low. A dispatch system can coordinate tasks and travel for multiple robots after routes and building equipment have been integrated.

Floors and clearances
Level, hard indoor flooring; recommended straight-route clearance of at least 650 mm, thresholds below 20 mm and slopes no steeper than 7°. Verify turning space for the chosen model and route on site.
Charging location
Place against a level, solid wall with 1.5 m clear in front and 0.5 m on each side. Confirm power and keep clear of water, stairs and entrances.
Lifts and access control
Travel between floors and through controlled doors requires a site survey and project-specific lift, door or gate IoT integration. Confirm compatibility, installation conditions and property-management permission.
Network and routes
Check wireless coverage in working areas, lifts and charging locations. Map and configure routes, then test notifications, remote management and recovery from interruptions.
Task acceptance and upkeep
Confirm compartment layout, card permissions and notifications, then verify loading, authentication and handovers at multiple stops.
